Engraved Prints
The process of creating a print first begins with engraving a unique scene on a plate. Once the plate is engraved, it is inked and placed on the bed of the press face up, then the paper is layed on top of the plate. A hand crank is then turned to produce the print on the paper. The image is a replica of the engraving. Most prints are engraved on metal, although the horse print was engraved on copper. The Horse, Buffalo, and Lion Prints are all Limited Edition.
